Zumba(R) Instructor Carol Dowling will get our bodies moving. No prior movement experience required, just motivation to support a great cause and move your body.

From fitness parties to fashion shows, to Instructor Training courses and networking, Zumba instructors from all over rocked out at the first annual Zumba Instructor Conference in LA!

I can’t wait until 2014! See you soon in LA.

Twenty-four days until the 2013 Zumba Instructor Conference in LA.  I’m so excited that I am worried I will forget to pack everything I need to have a blast in Los Angeles. To help make it easier on myself (and you) I made a comprehensive packing list. I call it the ULTIMATE Packing List for Zumba® Conference or Convention. You can use this for the LA Conference or the Instructor CONVENTION in Orlando, FL (August 2013).   I also found some helpful tip in this Packing Like a Pro Video.  Let me know what you think.   I also included food items to help save money.  Some things may not work for your situation so edit as needed. Did I forget anything?

Conf LogoWe have less than 30 days to the Zumba® Instructor Conference in Los Angeles and I can NOT wait!!!Pitbull -Mr. Worldwide will be the featured entertainer for the Fitness Concert™ .

Here’s and update from Kate B at the Home Office about the theme party:

“The theme party will be on Saturday night and the theme is Classic Hollywood.  We chose a broad theme so that you can be more creative with your costumes! You can be a character from a movie, an actress or singer or just wear something from that era.”

Hmmm… I trying to figure out my costume now.

Are you going to the Conference in LA? What will your costume be for the Theme Party?

The Harlem Globetrotters organization loved having a ZUMBA® demonstration so much last year that they’ve invited us back to do it again!!! So get your friends, family, and students into a pair of black pants and a colorful top as we Skittles(R) get ready to take the floor again. Please take note that this year’s show will be in a different location. This was done to accommodate everyone’s busy schedule and encourage maximum participation.

This year’s song is “If You Wanna Dance” from ZIN 37, the Live version with Tanya & Gina, starting with the right leg. Ticket prices are $19 per person and each person must have a ticket to participate. To order tickets contact Steven Kargol at 800‐641‐4667 x 148; kargol@harlemglobetrotters.com; or fax at 602‐258‐5925 no later than Wednesday, February 13th.
