Local and regional ZUMBA instructors will be gathering on Saturday 10.3.09 in DuPont for the First Annual ZUMBA Fiesta and Instructor Conference. Event will be held 1:30-7:30pm at Pioneer Middle School. We are expecting instructors from DuPont, Tacoma, Lakewood, Puyallup, Seattle, Olympia and around the Pacific Northwest. ZUMBA Fitness is a Latin-dance based fitness class the latest fitness craze. There are over 200 local instructors.

2nd Annual Zumbathon-Dance to End Domestic Violence Saturday June 20, 2009

Saturday, June 20, 2009. Registration begins at 10:00 a.m., followed by 2 hours of Zumba. The event should conclude no later than 1:00 p.m.

These agencies provide support and direct assistance to victims of domestic violence or sexual assault. They also bring education and public awareness to this issue throughout the Pierce County community.
